We currently act on behalf of entrepreneurs established in the Netherlands. If your business is established elsewhere in the EU, we cannot yet submit the request for you — your own tax authority has its own portal for that. The calculator and the knowledge base below do work for you: the rules per refund country are the same everywhere.

Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible?

vatea.eu is a service of Point2Create BV, Energieweg 1, 3133 EB Vlaardingen, Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 63324547. For all privacy questions, you can contact office@vatea.eu.

2. What data do we process?

For an account: your name, email address, company name, VAT number and invoice details. For the quick scan: your answers and, if you provide them, your email address. For visits to the site: anonymised visit statistics.

We do not record data about which AI systems you use beyond what you enter yourself in the quick scan, and we do not sell data to third parties.

3. Why and how long?

We process account data to provide and invoice the service; we retain invoices for seven years because tax law requires it. Quick scan answers we retain until you have them deleted.

4. Your rights

You can view, correct, delete or export your data. You don't even have to ask us: via Settings → Download all your data you get everything we have on you as a ZIP file with one click. If you prefer to send us a message, we will respond within thirty days. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

5. Cookies

Functional cookies for login and security are always on. We place statistical cookies only after your consent, and you can refuse them without the site working any less.
