Is this legal advice?
No. We provide general information with references to the official text. We do not know your situation and do not assess it either. For your own case, consult a lawyer or the competent supervisory authority.
Does the regulation that this platform covers apply to my business?
Likely it affects you as soon as you use AI — even if you only purchase it and do not build it yourself. What applies then depends on what you use it for. The quick scan provides an indication of that in five questions.
Is the content written by AI?
Yes, based on the official sources, with a technical check afterwards and human approval before publication. That is also stated under each article. We believe you should know that — it is precisely the transparency that the regulation itself demands of others.
What does it cost and what do I get for free?
The calculator and the entire knowledge base are free, without an account. For the VAT refund itself, you pay nothing upfront: we charge a percentage of what a refund country actually grants. If nothing comes through, you pay nothing. Separately, there is a knowledge subscription on the OSS scheme for webshops, which you do not need to claim VAT back. How do I know the information is current?
Under each article it states when it was last checked. We monitor the sources weekly; changes are processed as supplements and subscribers are notified.
In which languages is the site available?
Dutch and English. The regulation applies throughout the EU, so the content is EU-wide; the country-specific sections start with the Netherlands.
What do you do with my data?
Record as little as possible, and what we record you can have back. Via Settings → Download all your data you export everything we have about you as a ZIP file with one click. You can also delete it yourself. See the privacy statement for details.
